This policy explains what BeatID Online stores on your device. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) we must tell you about these technologies and, where they are not strictly necessary, ask your consent before using them.
localStorage and IndexedDB, which PECR treats the same way, and we use them for six things — listed in full below.Section 1
What we do not do
There is no advertising on BeatID Online and nothing here is used to track you. Specifically, we do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, fingerprinting, cross-site tracking, or any third-party analytics product. Nothing in the list below is shared with anyone, and nothing leaves your browser.
Section 2
Strictly necessary — no consent needed
These are exempt from consent under PECR Regulation 6(4): without them the Platform cannot do what you have asked it to do.

Section 3
Preferences — only with your consent
These make the Platform nicer to use and nothing more. We write them only if you press Accept on the storage banner. If you decline, everything still works — you just re-enter or re-set these each time.

Section 4
Other companies your browser talks to
Some parts of the page are served by other companies. We do not control what they store, and their own policies apply — but you should know they are involved, because your browser contacts them directly and they therefore see your IP address.

Section 5
Changing your mind
5.1 The banner
The first time you visit you are asked to accept or decline the preferences in Section 3. Declining is a real choice — the game works either way.
5.2 Withdrawing consent
Clear this site’s data in your browser. That deletes everything listed above, including the record of your choice, so the banner appears again and you can answer differently. If you decline at that point, the preference items are removed and are not written again.
5.3 Blocking it entirely
Every browser can block storage for a site in its privacy settings. The Platform is built to survive that: if storage is unavailable, nothing is remembered between visits and no error is shown to you.
